Activity overview
An accessible introduction to glacier travel and crevasse rescue
Hike up to Blüemlisalp hut where you will stay overnight high in the alps and learn about glaciers and the surrounding area. The next day you will gear up with your guides and head out on to the glacier for some training before finding some crevasses to learn about crevasse rescue, ice axe technique and rope work.

Day 2
Breakfast and prepare to go back onto the glacier | 07:00 |

Walk back to Oeschinensee | 13:00 |

Pricing
- Price adult: CHF 180.00
- Price child: CHF 180.00
Price includes Oeschinensee gondola return tickets, overnight in the hut, dinner (no drinks included) and breakfast at the hut, specialist equipment and a trained guides.

Equipment
All participants must have everything on the list. If a participant does not have all of the required items, they will not be able to join the activity.
- Rucksack - 20 to 40 litres
- Hiking boots with ankle support (no trainers)
- Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers
- Warm clothing - long trousers, fleece, warm hat and gloves (no jeans)
- Sun protection - sun cream, sunglasses, sun hat
- Water bottle - 2 litres
- Food - packed lunch and snacks
- Personal medication (asthma inhalers, etc.)
- Pocket money (optional)
Extra equipment for overnight activities:
- Sheet sleeping bag liner (not a regular sleeping bag)
- Torch
