Cubs and Scouts
This engaging workshop features hands-on experimentation across three captivating topics: Thermic Energy, Photovoltaics, and Lights. Each session is tailored to achieve a specific educational objective, offering participants the opportunity to explore the practical applications of solar power.
Experience the magic of solar energy as you learn to use it for making popcorn, creating art, powering vehicles, and more!
Upon completion, participants will be awarded with the Scouts Go Solar badge, demonstrating their newfound knowledge and commitment to sustainable practices.
Explorers and Rovers
Dive deep into the realm of solar energy through immersive, hands-on exploration and experimentation in this workshop. Gain experience learning about thermic energy and mastering your skills with solar panels.
Join us on this dynamic workshop designed for Explorers and Rovers and earn the Scouts Go Solar badge, showcasing your commitment to innovation and eco-conscious practices.
This activity is supported by Solafrica. Participants will be rewarded with the Scouts Go Solar Badge once completed.
In summer, this activity runs at either in the morning or the afternoon. In other seasons this activity is subject to availability and we will do our best to fit this into your schedule.
- Morning session: 9.00
- Afternoon session: 14.30
- Price adult (16+): CHF 3.00
- Price child (15-): CHF 3.00
Price includes a KISC guide, the materials for the workshop and the Scouts go Solar Badge
Guest cancellation:
- Less than 7 days before activity: fee of 50% of the price per person.
- Less than 48 hours in advance: non-refundable.
- This activity is will be facilitated differently according to the age of the participants. When booking the activity, please note either "Cubs and Scouts" or "Explorers and Rovers"
- When booking this activity, you need to mention when you want to do the activity in the comment section in the booking form. This activity is available every day at 9:00 and 14:30, except on Sunday mornings.
- If the weather is not suitable for this activity, the content of the activity will change to delve more into topics like Light and Energy Saving.
- A leader or responsible person over 18 years old must be present as part of the group.
