The Thun Castle exhibition is an extraordinary look into the history of Switzerland dating all the way back as far as the 1200's. It is a uniquely preserved testimony to the historical architecture and is a Swiss Cultural asset of national significance. While touring five floors, visitors encounter the medieval history of the town and castle. From its towers, this architectural jewel offers unparalleled 360-degree views of the mountains, town and lake. A great activity to do on a rest day from hiking!
Opening hours:
- March to June: Daily from 10am to 5pm
- July to August: Daily from 09:30am to 5:30pm
- September to October: Daily from 10am to 5pm
- November to January: Sundays Only from 1pm to 4 pm.
- Exceptionally, between December 22nd and January 5th, every day from 1pm to 4pm

- It is not suitable to have large backpacks in the Thun Castle exhibitions. Please avoid carrying large backpacks. Limited space is available to store bags.
