Set in a majestic Alpine environment on a mountain pass, the Grimsel trip starts with a breath-taking 50m abseil.

After being lowered down into the canyon you will continue with amazing jumps, ziplines and slides into crystal clear pools. The pale-coloured rock formations in this canyon add to the stunning mountain scenery. It is suitable for older Scouts looking for adventure!

Option 2: Afternoon Canyoning
Meeting time and place: 13:30 at the Outdoor Interlaken Base
Finish time and place: 19:00 at the Outdoor Interlaken Base

Important information 
  • From 14 years old, minimum height 145 cm, maximum weight 120 kg
  • All participants needs to have a good water confidence, good fitness, no phobia of heights    
  • Backpacks and bags can be left at the base and collected at the end of the activity        
  • It is not allowed for anyone to follow along the trip to watch or take photos
  • A leader or responsible person over 18 years old must be present as part of the group
