Embark on an unforgettable journey with Leadership Training Hike, a transformative introductory leadership training tailored for young leaders, aim at explorers and Rovers. As you hike from KISC to the heart of Gasterntal, immerse yourself in the splendour of Switzerland's natural wonders.
Through experiential learning, participants not only recognize leadership as a skill to be honed but also cultivate behaviours essential to effective leadership: Empathy, self-awareness and communication emerge as cornerstones of guiding teams towards shared aspirations.

In summer this activity is available every day, except on Sundays.
The activity starts at 8.30 in front of the chalet and the expected return is at 16.00.

| 8:30 | Meet your guide at the meeting point, have an equipment check and prepare to leave. |
| 9:25 | After the first workshop, leave KISC and head into the Gasterntal |
| 10:50 | Pass by Waldhaus |
| 12:30 | Have lunch |
| 13:30 | Arrive at the turnaround point and start walking back to KISC |
| 15:30 | Arrive back at KISC |
- Price adult (16+): CHF 6.00

Price includes a KISC guide and activity material.
Guest cancellation:
- Less than 7 days before activity: fee of 50% of the price per person.
- Less than 48 hours in advance: non-refundable.
- A leader or responsible person over 18 years old must be present as part of the group.
- This activity is not available on Sundays.
- This activity is designed for Explorers and Rovers
All participants must have everything on the list. If a participant does not have all of the required items, they will not be able to join the activity.
- Rucksack - 20 to 40 litres
- Hiking boots with ankle support (no trainers)
- Waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers
- Warm clothing - long trousers, fleece, warm hat and gloves (no jeans)
- Sun protection - sun cream, sunglasses, sun hat
- Water bottle - 2 litres
- Food - packed lunch and snacks (Lunch will take place in the Gasterntal)
- Personal medication (asthma inhalers, etc.)
- Pocket money (optional)

This activity can be adapted as a half a day workshop without the hike to Gasterntal or with a simpler/shorter hike to accommodate for participants preferences.
