House Assistant Summer

The House Assistant works together with the House Manager and other House Assistant to ensure a positive image of the Centre in terms of the cleanliness and general appearance of all of the indoor facilities in the summer of 2024! This includes taking care of the laundry services, assisting in the coordination of daily and seasonal cleaning routines, guest check-ins and -outs, helping with special events, and ensuring that all guests receive excellent service during their stay. The House Assistant also leads and organises the Short Term Staff’s daily work.

Hut Warden

Closed position

The Hut Warden is responsible for the preparation, as well as the running and day-to-day maintenance of the Centre’s two mountain huts (Gfellalp & Ueschinen Hut). This includes opening the hut after winter, keeping the hut stocked with food and supplies, and taking down the waste. Approximately 2-3 days a week will be spent working at the huts, and the rest of the time will be spent helping with the Programme administration in the office.

Infrastructure Assistant

The Infrastructure Assistant is responsible for working with their team, made up of the Grounds Manager, Maintenance Manager and Infrastructure Manager, to ensure the efficient maintenance and development of the Centre’s property and grounds. This includes assisting with projects such as room renovations, and general repairs and caretaking of the Centre’s facilities, grounds and vehicles. If you are good at handiwork and enthusiastic about working behind the scenes and helping the operation run smoothly, we look forward to your application.

Infrastructure Manager

Closed position

Only accepting applications from EU/Efta countries for this role (including UK). The Infrastructure manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and grounds work carried out across our property, Together with their team, they are responsible for the care of all KISC properties, machinery and buildings, as well as the IT hardware and network connections of the Centre (computer, phone, internet lines...) They will work closely with the KISC Foundation regarding the property, renovations and investments.
