What to pack with you on your adventures
Summer Kit List
All participants must have everything on the list. If a participant does not have all of the required items, they will not be able to join the activity.
Kit list for Hiking and Climbing activities:

Rucksack—20 to 40 litres

Hiking boots with ankle support (Trainers or shoes without ankle support are not acceptable)

Waterproof jacket and trousers (with taped seams and waterproof membrane– soft shell/DWR fabric is not acceptable)

Water bottle—2 litres

Suitable clothing for weather inc. Warm layers (e.g., fleece jumper), no jeans

Sun hat

Warm hat

Gloves

Sun cream– SPF 50 recommended

Sun glasses

Food—packed lunch and snacks

Special medication—Epipen, inhaler, etc
Extra equipment for overnight activities:
- Sheet sleeping bag liner (not a regular sleeping bag)
- Torch
- Food - dinner and breakfast
Winter Kit List

Equipment for winter activities
- Rucksack - 20 to 40 litres
- Waterproof hiking boots with ankle support (no trainers)
- Winter trousers and jacket - preferably waterproof
- Warm clothing - thermal base-layer, fleece (no jeans)
- Warm hat and gloves - preferably waterproof
- Sun protection - sun cream, sunglasses, sun hat
- Water bottle - minimum 2 litres
- Food - packed lunch and snacks
- Personal medication - epipen, asthma inhaler, etc
- Pocket money (optional)
Extra equipment for skiing or snowboarding
- Skis and poles / snowboard
- Ski boots / snowboard boots
- Helmet (compulsory for guided skiing, snowboarding and sledding)
- Ski goggles
Extra equipment for sledding activities (Oeschinensee Sledding, Snow Adventure Day, Gemmi Hike 'n' Sled)
- Helmet (compulsory for guided skiing, snowboarding and sledding)
- Ski goggles
