We are looking for five digitally dynamic and innovative people to coordinate the online event of our 100 year celebration . This team will be part of KISC 2023 Programme Development team and will be responsible for the planning and execution of this particular event.   • Needs to be at least 18 years old.
  • Communicate in a high level of written and spoken English

Essential

  • Experience with online events management and/or non-formal education in online settings.

  • Ability to create, review and develop online educational activities for young people (7-26 years old)

  • Experience with using various communications and project management tools.

  • Excellent English writing skills.

  • Ability to meet project deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time.

  • Ability to work within an international team of volunteers

  • Commitment and ability to volunteer remotely for a long-term period.

Desirable

  • Relevant knowledge of online event management through studies or work experience.

  • Experience in the non-formal education sector and/or working for NGOs.

  • National, regional, or/and international Scouting experience.

  • Ability to communicate in any other WOSM language; French, Arabic, Spanish, or/and Russian.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of the online event.

  • Write and produce various online activities for young people ( 7 - 26 years old).

  • Manage the virtual logistics of the event including but not limited to; the website content, webinars & live stream backstage support, complaints, and safe from harm issues. 

  • Use reporting tools and provide reports on the performance.

  • Work with the marketing and communications department to produce regular e-newsletters, circulars, articles, and website content for different types of audiences.

  • Dealing with cross-functional teams to ensure proper execution and results delivery.

  • Develop an ownership approach to ensure an accurate task delivery in a timely and efficient manner.

This volunteering position is supervised by the 2023 Project Director. The Online Event team is part of the wider Programme Development department.
