The Campsite
Our Campsite can accommodate up to 1,200 persons on more than 50 individual campsites. During our high season (July & August) we have, on average, around 1000 guests at a time staying on our Campsite. Also at this time we have special Campsite Staff who are dedicated to looking after our campers. They do everything from giving guests firewood to answering questions, and cleaning the toilet blocks!
Drinking water can be found throughout the entire Campsite, with each individual campsite not far from a water point. There are also a number of toilet blocks, with hot and cold water, dotted across the Campsite. The Campsite has several shelters and covered areas, a sports field, small and large campfire circles, a chapel, sauna, fridge rooms, recycling centres and a guest laundry situated in the Kanderlodge.
No vehicles are allowed on the Campsite but we do have hand operated post carts to help you transport your equipment to your Campsite.
Normally groups get their own 'private' Campsite, although during our high season you may be asked to share with another group. Campsite equipment such as firewood, pioneering poles, butane and propane gas, tents, tables and benches, cooking equipment are available for guests, some at a small fee. In high season it is necessary to book tents, tables and benches, stoves and Cooking Equipment in advance as we only have a limited number. Rental Equipment is booked on a first come first serve basis.

In summer you can find at the Campsite Entrance the Campsite Office. For every Campsite related question or problem is this Office the place to go. Next to the Campsite Office you can find the Campsite Shop here you can buy souvenirs along with drinks and ice creams.
