Allmenalp Via Ferrata

Activity overview

The Allmenalp Via Ferrata is one of the best in the region. Climb iron pegs, wire bridges and traverse above the spectacular Allmenalp waterfall.

A professional mountain guide will climb with you, guiding you along this extremely challenging via-ferrata from the bottom to the top. You will climb 350 metres up from the valley floor over the course of around 4 hours. Once you finish you will then take a cable car back down to the valley floor, admiring the view of the rockface you just climbed and the beauty that Kandersteg has to offer.

Price includes a Swiss mountain guide and safety equipment.

Additionally, you will also need to buy a single-way Allmenalp Cable Car ticket separately to go down at the end of the activity (unless you prefer to hike down). You can find more information about the cable car - here.
