Hut Warden

Closed position
The Hut Warden is responsible for the preparation, as well as the running and day-to-day maintenance of the Centre’s two mountain huts (Gfellalp & Ueschinen Hut). This includes opening the hut after winter, keeping the hut stocked with food and supplies, and taking down the waste. Approximately 2-3 days a week will be spent working at the huts, and the rest of the time will be spent helping with the Programme administration in the office.

Infrastructure and Finance Director / Stellvertretender Direktor für interne Dienste

Closed position
The Deputy Director for Infrastructure and Finances is responsible for overseeing the Finance of the centre, the maintenance and grounds work carried out indoors and outdoors, the well-being of KISC properties and buildings, and the IT hardware and network connections of the Centre (computer, phone, internet lines...) As Deputy Director they will work in close cooperation with the KISC Foundation regarding the properties, renovations and investments. A strong ability to lead people will be critically important, more than a detailed knowledge of one work area.

Maintenance Assistant

Closed position
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager and the Grounds Manager to ensure the efficient maintenance and development of the Centre’s property and grounds. This includes projects such as room renovations, and general caretaking of the Centre’s facilities, grounds and vehicles. Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the efficient maintenance, repairs and improvements of the Centre’s buildings according to the maintenance plan and the long-term strategic development of the Centre. This includes projects such as room renovations, and general caretaking of Centre’s facilities and vehicles. The Maintenance Manager is supported by the Maintenance Assistant, and supervises their daily work.
