House Manager

The House Manager is responsible for leading the work of the Centre’s House team, including all associated administrative, planning, development, and day-to-day tasks. The House Manager takes responsibility for the image of the Centre in terms of cleanliness and general appearance. The House Manager also takes a leading role in the coordination and preparation of the accommodation and conference room setup during special events. Hut Warden

Closed position
The Hut Warden is responsible for the preparation, as well as the running and day-to-day maintenance of the Centre’s two mountain huts (Gfellalp & Ueschinen Hut). This includes opening the hut after winter, keeping the hut stocked with food and supplies, and taking down the waste. Approximately 2-3 days a week will be spent working at the huts, and the rest of the time will be spent helping with the Programme administration in the office.

Internal Services Director

Closed position
The Internal Services Director (also called Deputy Director for Internal Services and ISD) is a member of the Senior Management Team of the Centre. As Deputy Director for Internal Services they are directly responsible for the management of the infrastructure, ICT, and the work areas linked to the maintenance of our property. The responsibilities also include managing and training Long Term Staff in the Grounds and Maintenance teams.

Maintenance Manager

Closed position
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the efficient maintenance, repairs and improvements of the Centre’s buildings according to the maintenance plan and the long-term strategic development of the Centre. This includes projects such as room renovations, and general caretaking of Centre’s facilities and vehicles. The Maintenance Manager is supported by the Maintenance Assistant, and supervises their daily work. If you are good at handiwork and enthusiastic about working behind the scenes and helping the operation run smoothly, we look forward to your application.
