The Hut Warden is responsible for the preparation, as well as the running and day-to-day maintenance of the Centre’s two mountain huts (Gfellalp & Ueschinen Hut). This includes opening the hut after winter, keeping the hut stocked with food and supplies, and taking down the waste. Approximately 2-3 days a week will be spent working at the huts, and the rest of the time will be spent helping with the Programme administration in the office.

The Infrastructure manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and grounds work carried out across our property, Together with their team, they are responsible for the care of all KISC properties, machinery and buildings, as well as the IT hardware and network connections of the Centre (computer, phone, internet lines...) They will work closely with the KISC Foundation regarding the property, renovations and investments.
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager and the Grounds Manager to ensure the efficient maintenance and development of the Centre’s property and grounds. This includes projects such as room renovations, and general caretaking of the Centre’s facilities, grounds and vehicles. The Maintenance Manager is managing the maintenance, repairs and improvements of the Centre’s buildings according to the maintenance plan and the long-term strategic development of the Centre. This includes projects such as renovations, and general caretaking of Centre’s facilities, machinery and vehicles. The Maintenance Manager works closely with the Grounds Manager in the upkeep of the Centre's infrastructure.
