Between the 25-27 September 2020 we will welcome hundreds of KISC Association members from all around the world for our biennial General Assembly.

If you're not a member and would like to be become a part of our assosciation then, you can subscribe on our Support Us page. Once you are a member you will be elligible to join us for what is set to be an exciting and inspiring event.

The General Assembly plays an important role in determining the World Scout Centre's direction for the next two years and keeping Baden Powell's dream alive for future generations. Participation from our members is a key part of Centre operations and a great opportunity to make and get to know new and old friends.

This year's General Assembly will be held online. However, if you would still like to visit Kandersteg in-person, you are more than welcome to join us for a weekend of programme, including workshops, apéros, meals, Chalet Tours, BBQs and presentations. Just remember to bring a device with you (laptop, tablet or smartphone) that enables you to attend the GA online. The Centre is able to supply a small number of devices, if needed please let us know before arrival.

Due to the current exceptional circumstances, voting will take place online using Zoom, with up to 3 elected Tellers overseeing the process. You will be notified by the Chairperson when a poll is about to take place, and receive an on-screen prompt with a digital ballot. You will then have a limited amount of time to cast your vote by clicking on your preferred option. Results will then be counted and verified, before being announced to everyone online.

In the case of an equal number of votes being cast for a resolution, recommendation or an amendment, the vote of the Chairperson decides.
