The General Assembly plays an important role in determining the World Scout Centre's direction for the next two years and keeping Baden Powell's dream alive for future generations. Participation from our members is a key part of Centre operations and a great opportunity to make and get to know new and old friends.
Our full programme for the weekend will be confirmed soon, but our agenda will reflect on what's been achieved over the past two years as well as looking forward to our centenary in 2023. You will gain an insight into our governance, a chance to review our accounts, recieve any reports and of course, socialise and get to know fellow members of the Association. Additional activities such as tours of the grounds and chalet will also be on offer, as well as a special complimentary lunch on Sunday afternoon.
Dominik Roos, our current Treasurer has informed the Committee that he will be stepping down as an individual member at this GA. Anyone wishing to stand for election should:
- Be at least 18 years old on 23rd May 2020
- Have paid membership fees up to and including 2020
