The Swan Song14.03.2015
Johanna: Spring season has arrived here at KISC and all the winter shorties have gone home, or at least most of them. Actually, if you look really carefully you can see that three of them are still wandering around the chalet but in another figure. They changed from pink to green over night and are now running the center behind the scenes, while the new shorties are being trained. They try to show them what KISC is all about, cleaning and cooking...NO, my mistake, smiling and fun of course! We who now run the center (shhhhhh, don't tell the others) are Johanna (SE), Tommy (US) and Rachel (CA).
Tommy: Johanna may or may not have delusions of grandeur (hopefully she doesn't read this). But she is right about a few things. This is our final encore, our swan song. It's been hard to say goodbye to the rest of the Winter 2015 STS, and soon we'll have to say goodbye to all of KISC.
Rachel: Winter here has been amazing and it is all thanks to the staff and visitors we have had (Shout out to Cat, Anne Sofie, Lisa, Mara, Vincent and Jon). Now as a helper, we get to help keep the center running as the new shorties get trained (It is really fun watching them suffer, I mean learn). The transition from pink to green has been quiet easy, but it is funny how the colour of the jumper gives us a different perspective of KISC. It's very cool seeing the new shorties being trained because we remember being in their position just 3 months ago, even though it feels like it has been longer than that. Our time here has been amazing and we can not wait to come back!!!!!!!!!
