The new smile at KISC13.11.2015
Hello there, I am Erling from Norway! This week I have been chosen to be the smile of the week.
Somehow it feels like I have been here forever, even though I have just worked at KISC for barely two weeks, and I appreciate the surroundings of Kandersteg so far. The last one and a half weeks have been quite intense, and I have spent a lot of time getting into everything here at KISC. I have worked together with most of the staff already, and I'm starting to know everyone and what their responsibilites are.
Even though we are in the middle of November, it's warm at noon, and no signs of snow. Lunch breaks are spent outdoors wearing t-shirt and enjoying the sun. However, the lack of snow is also a bit sad for those of us waiting for the winter. What I am told is that Kandersteg has miles and miles of cross country trails, and the trails are passing just outside the entrance of the centre. It will be quite cool to go skiing later on, but in the meanwhile I keep on enjoying the good weather as long as it lasts.
The next weeks I will probably still be everywhere at KISC, trying to get into things. On my days off you might find me hiking, relaxing in the sun, soon skiing or doing other fun things.
