So I've been chosen smile of the week this week. That might have something to do with, at least according to Nikki, that I have been very energetic and in a good mood since Saturday. I have these weird happy periods sometimes.
Anyway, this week has been a week with very sunny and warm lunch breaks on the Kanderlodge terrace (might be a reason to be happy). The temperature has been about 10 degrees Celsius in the shade, but in the sun, because of the snow reflecting so much of the sunlight, it has been wonderful (smile, smile, smile). I usually eat as fast as I can, to get as much time in the sun as possible. After putting my plate away, I quickly make my way to the Kanderlodge where I grab a chair (which I am supposed to ask the LTS living there for) and move out on the terrace. There I sit down and relax, enjoying the sunlight for an hour and a half before I have to go back to work. I have even started to get rid of my panda-tan from my ski goggles and helmet I had for days.
But at the same time I'm sad that I'll soon be going home, Winter season is over and we have already returned our guiding jacket, our first aid kit for guiding and our "black book" with everything you might want to know as a guide. So no more guiding for us sadly. But on the other hand, new shorties will arrive and experience KISC in Spring with, hopefully, lots of sun and, probably, lots of deep cleaning.
