Why am I smiling, you ask? How could I not be smiling? This place is amazing! Being surrounded by mountains, people from all over the world and so much recyclable material is inspiring, crazy and amazing beyond words and most images!
Ever since I was first staff in2008 I have been amazed by the effect KISC has on people. It’s a bit like coffee—addictive, exciting and a great passion of mine. After spending a lot of time studying in the past few years, I decided to follow my heart and come back to KISC as Campsite Assistant. In the end, I think one of the most important things in life is to follow the things that you are passionate and enthusiastic about! Like coffee! If you have the opportunity to do that, and if you are surrounded by people who do that (and you are here), it is quiet hard not to smile and be happy.
In the last four weeks I have been welcomed into a family of amazing Pinkies, learnt how to drive a tractor, hiked and stared at mountains, and found treasures in rubbish skips. The list goes on! Fork lifts! Recycling! Plastic! Coffee! People! The Kander! Fire! Coffee! Trees! Tents! Litter! Stars! Cows! Snow! Rain! Räntä! Independent adventurer dogs! Cheese! So much cheese! You get the point, this place is amazing to say the least.
