Serving up smiles02.04.2014
Dav! My name is Camilla and I’m from Denmark. I was so lucky to be voted Smile of the Week. It is a title that I’m really glad for.
I have always been taught that smiling is a language everybody understands. This weekend was very crazy here at KISC. We were the host of a lot of guests, who were going to take part in something called Skimara, which is a kind of marathon, just on touring skis. Because of the Skimara we at KISC were host for a big pasta party with more than 100 guests. I was in catering that day and I feared it was going to be a long and hard evening. But I quickly found out if you do things the pink way it will end up being a fun day. Like we Pinkies always do, we help each other. Even thought people were not in Catering they would help with serving and washing dishes. Some of the guests didn’t speak English that well, so when it was time to serve them it was very important that we as Pinkies did everything we could to help them. With a smile and a lot of body language everybody got served and had a great pasta party. I have never seen so much pasta in my life. The whole atmosphere and mood made me smile and laugh while doing the dishes. So the evening that I feared would be hard work ended up been a really fun night, where I learnt that Pinkies always do things the pink way with a smile on your face.
