Our journeys have crossed...17.03.2016
So I have been the privileged one to become the first Spring 2016 Pinkie for Smile of the week. I am Josh from the far off land of New Zealand. We have completed our training week and now wearing pink and biting into the real life here at KISC.
My journey to get here has been a long one. It has been a decent journey leading up to my trip to Kandersteg and the actually trip itself (2 and a half days with a night in China). On my arrival to KISC every single one of the staff and helpers were very friendly and welcoming. This was the first time meeting these amazing people who will be my family for the next three months and friends for the rest of my life.
We are all on a journey to somewhere. A lot of us are unsure where the destination is. One thing is for sure is that all of the staff for Spring 2016 journeys have crossed for this small chunk of our lives. Although it is very early on in my time at KISC, I can tell that this will be a special time for me and the other Pinkies. At the end of our season our journeys will deviate and continue on each of our paths. I can already tell that I would like my journey to continue for a little while longer at KISC.
I would encourage any of you who have not yet had the pleasure to come to KISC to make the journey, near or far. Breathe in the fresh air, drink in the stunning scenery and make new connections. Come and be a pinkie and live the dream.
