Howdy, I'm Arielle.
I can't believe how fast time flies here at KISC. This week I was so busy between the amazing eats at our international evening, having chocolate and cheese fondue, enjoying the Centre's sauna, our movie nights and finding myself at a punk concert - and next thing you know, another week has passed and I still haven't had time to write my Smile of the Week blog... My apologies to all the regular readers and fans.
I guess it is best to start off with a bit about myself. I am from Canada. I laugh a lot. I make my bed everyday. I carry a silver coin around to flip when I can't make decisions. I like cowboys and country music, the smell of hardware stores, wearing overalls and filling up my truck just before the price of gas goes up. I also like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain - which is a good thing, since last week Jack (UK) and I went to Milan and did a marathon where it rained the WHOLE time! We ran in our pinks that we had decorated for the event. It was an amazing experience and a fabulous time. I couldn't have asked for a better running partner! In fact, I enjoyed it so much I went and did it again in Zurich this weekend (alone this time as Jack's legs were not that convinced yet on having another marathon) and the liquid sunshine poured down (with some hail for fun). Maybe on my next days off I should choose an indoor activity. Unless of course you want to come to Kandersteg and join me for a little run?
