Last week I was in London for work and did not write the KL blog.
However, work kept on going and quicker as anticipated. All the pipes of the Sprinkler system are in the roof area, the 1st floor, the ground floor and the entrance area (see picture). Work is now being done in the flat roof area and then the different floors need to be connected vertically.
This week the 'basin' for the Sprinkler pump need to be build in the basement. The 'basin' needs to be able contain all the water that is in the system in case the system needs to be emptied for tests. Now we need to decide which fire alarm system will be installed.
Paul has his work laid out for him the coming weeks. Now the Sprinkler system is installed on the 1st Floor he can put in the ceiling for which he needs approx. 760m2 fermacell (fire protection material) and hunderds of metres of wood. At the same time he needs to prepare some of the side walls as 2 rooms need additional windows. Sadly enough this is the last week of the Winter Staff and coming week is training of the new Spring Staff - so 2 weeks with a considerable lower amount of people. If you have time and you are available now, let me know!
That is it for this time.
