* Infants are children aged 0 - 5. years. Overnight Price per infant is charged only if They require Their Own Bed.
** Minimum occupancy for Tower is 30 people, and for Sunneblick is 20 people. If the group doesn’t reach this number it is still charged extra to cover the minimum required.
*** In Winter the Campsite costs 7.00 CHF per person per night for scouts and non-scouts.
Tourist Tax is an additional cost to the accommodation overnight. It is displayed separately to provide clarity and transparency for guests in regard to the proportion of overnight costs that KISC receive and the proportion of overnight costs being paid as tourist tax to Switzerland.
With the help of this tourist tax, the village of Kandersteg is able to provide local infrastructure like free bus services inside the village, tourist information and discounted prices to attractions (for example, the village pool). Additionally, as a result of this tax, the guest can receive several useful information brochures for free.

HOW TO BOOK

We try to answer all requests as soon as possible, but it may take up to 48 hours to answer your request.

How to pay your prepayment & Confirm Your booking
There are two ways to pay a booking fee. Both, unfortunately, incur a fee so it is worth looking into which option will be best for your group.
By bank transfer:
Either online if you have e-banking, or by visiting your bank in person. You can find our bank details here. Please note that if you choose this option you will need to cover ALL bank fees associated with the transaction. However, under the SEPA agreement, if you transfer money in Euros using IBAN numbers to our BEKB Euro account, you will pay little or no fees. This is usually the best way for groups to pay, even if you do not use Euros in your own country.
IMPORTANT: Please remember to quote your booking number in the payment reference text.
You can pay using PayPal. Please keep in mind that there is a 4% fee when using PayPal.
The booking fee is the minimum amount that needs to be paid in advance. However, we recommend that you pay the majority of your bill before arriving at KISC to avoid bank charges for withdrawing cash and the 2% card fee.
How to pay your bill when you leave kisc
We recommend to make a bank tranfers towards your reservation a month or so before arrival. This way the fees are the smallest and settling the remaining bill can easily be taken care of by using the methods outlined below.
Please note that all payments must be taken care of before departing form KISC. It is not possible to pay after you leave.
We ask that groups come to reception to settle their bill the day before they leave, to make the departure day as smooth as possible. It is also possible to get a print-out of your current bill to check-through anytime during office hours.
In Swiss Francs. We can only accept small amounts in Euros, British Pounds or US Dollars.
By Credit/Debit Card:
Major credit/debit cards are accepted. Payment by Maestro or Post Finance do not have a fee, but please keep in mind that there is a 2% fee on ALL other credit and debit cards, including pre-pay currency cards.
If you have any questions concerning payments, please call KISC on +41 33 675 8282 during office hours (Mon - Sat 08.15-12.00 and 14.00-18.00, Sun 09.15 - 12.00 and 14.00-18.00).
In case of a full cancellation more than 90 days before the date of arrival, half of the received Booking Fee will be reimbursed. In the event of a full cancellation after this point the booking fee will be kept in full by the Centre. Any bank charges as a result of returning half the Booking Fee will be paid by the Guest.
Full Cancellation by the Centre: The Centre is entitled to cancel bookings at any time without prior notice. In such a case, any Booking Fee already paid will be reimbursed in full to the group.
If a group reduces its participants from the original booked total participants less than 90 days prior to arrival, an Administration Fee of SFr. 25.- (or the full amount if less than this) will be added to the bill for each participant that does not check in. If a group decides to depart early, all booked overnights (including those not used) will be charged at full price as an administration fee.
