Home away from Home!
I am Hari (Ramhari) from India, where I live in a small state there called Kerala – which is in its extreme south. I feel much happy to be here in this world of amazing “Pinkies” far away from there. For me, KISC is now my second home away from home.
Coming here to KISC to live the dream is one of the most precious opportunities I ever had in my life. On the day I came here, everything was new for me. New people, new lifestyle, new culture...! But in a very short time, we the “Pinkies” from different parts of the world started loving each other and KISC is now our family with brothers and sisters around the world.
On my last week here, I am taking away to my home - the memories of last two months which always cherished with happiness. KISC is a real experience of pure scouting, there wasn’t a day here we have not enjoyed. Every day is fun, Every minute is fun! The magic of making things done by the magic of Scouting is KISC. For me, there are so many definitions for KISC now – scouting, love, happiness, international friendship, university, nature, camping etc.. And you see here, people from different parts of the world, in different uniforms – but with the same spirit of Scouting, a smile on their face and a Necker.
Reason for a “Smile” here at KISC is nothing other than the love and caring we have on each other.
Dear BP – How much should we thank you for this “Permanent Mini Jamboree” in this beautiful valley of Swiss Alps? My humble salutes to you and to all the my brothers and sisters here at my second home, the KISC.
