The first floor of the New Chalet was opened in May 1998 and is composed by 9 bedrooms of 3 beds each. These rooms have single beds, full bedding with duvets, individual bedlights, a cupboard, table and chairs, night tables, picture frames and carpeted floor. Two dedicated bathrooms located in this floor are used only by those staying in these rooms.

SPONSOR A ROOM IN THE NEW CHALET
8 rooms are available for adoption by National Scout Associations or other naming proposals. At the moment one room is dedicated to Malek Gabr, Deputy Secretary General of WOSM 1991-2004. Another is sposored by the Scout Association of Malta. The rest of the rooms are named after mountains around the Kandersteg area but are available for adoption.
