WINTER WEEK 1

During Winter Week 1 there is a special programme which includes New Years Eve Dinner and Party. There is an extra charge of SFr. 29.- for all participants on Winter Week 1 and details of the programme are available the October before.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

Packages which include equipment hire include skis/snowboard, boots and poles. Helmets are recommended and are available to rent for a small amount extra. There is no discount available if you only rent skis/snowboard or boots.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

During the week, we arrange two evening activities for all participants as well as a final fondue and presentation evening. Evening activities include Sledding, Snowshoeing, Campfire, Igloo Building, Curling and Crafts. Please see the Evening Activities area for more information and suggestions. If you would like more evening activities, we are happy to organise them at an additional cost.

PROGRAMME CHANGES
It may be necessary to change the planned programme due to poor snow conditions or extreme weather. If this occurs we will be happy to organise alternative activities together with you. If this results in additional costs, these will have to be paid by the group.

MEALS
All meals are provided, starting on Sunday evening and ending with a packed lunch on Saturday. We ask all Winter Week participants to help set up tables, clear away and wash up for both the morning and evening meals. Our Staff will supervise and help out wherever possible.

HOW TO BOOK
Once you have decided which Winter Week you would like to participate in, contact us as soon as possible. We will then send you a provisional booking form together with further details of the Winter Week and payment methods. Bookings must be confirmed by the payment of a booking fee of 30% of each persons Winter Week fee. For all participants that arrive in Kandersteg, the booking fee will be deducted in full from the final bill. In the event of a cancellation up to 3 months before the date of arrival, half the booking fee will be reimbursed. If a cancellation is made after this point, or if only part of the group arrives, the full booking fee for those who do not arrive will be retained.

MAXIMUM NUMBERS
The maximum we can accomodate on a Ski Week is 60, Advanced Ski Week is 20 and Winter Activity Week is 30. We can provide these weeks to larger groups but require at least 6 months notice.
