Kandersteg is magnificent in the winter. During this time, we offer a programme with activities ranging from sledding to caving and of course, all forms of fun in the snow!

The Centre is situated in an ideal location not far from several of Europe’s major ski resorts and the village has two excellent downhill ski areas and over 70km of cross country skiing.

If the weather is not so kind, you can take part in more ‘sheltered’ activities which could be anything from bowling ‘Swiss style’ to caving deep in the Swiss Alps. For the evenings, or for when you are looking for something a little more relaxing, you can choose from a variety of local activities. Maybe an evening in our Finnish sauna or cheering for the local ice hockey team.
