Jungfraujoch & Eiger Trail
The icing on the cake! The coach takes you to Lauterbrunnen, where you embark on Europe's most scenic train ride. Tunnel through the Eiger on to the Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. Take in spectecular views of the Berner Oberland and visit the ice grotto! Upon your return, leave the train at Eiger Gletscher and hike down the famous 'Eiger Trail' (Bergweg) below the North Face of this spectacular mountain - it is a 3,5 hour hike, so be prepared. The coach collects you from Grindelwald. Recommended for 10 years and above.
Departs Kandersteg at 07:00 and returns at 19:00. See the timetable for details. Please note that if you are on Centre Catering, you will need to book a packed breakfast and a packed lunch to be made the evening before - as the trip departs before breakfast opens.
If you would like to visit Jungfraujoch and walk the Eiger Trail but use your own transport we can organise tickets for the Jungfraubahn.
The tickets take you from Lauterbrunnen to Jungfraujoch and return to Grindelwald Grund. Therefore, you will need to organise your transport to drop you in Lauterbrunnen and collect you from Grindelwald Grund. Please see the timetable for more information.

For those who do not want to hike either the Eiger trail or the Wanderweg, it is possible to take the train down from Kleine Scheidegg to Grindelwald - please contact us for prices.
