A tooth shaped rocky peak that dominates the views to the south of the Kander valley. Gällihorn is the northern most point of the Üschenegrat ridge that stands between the valleys of Üschene and Spittelmatte. The north face of Gällihorn drops steeply down to the Kander valley, but the ascent from the Üschene (the back path) is less exposed and eroded. The approach to the shoulder (2165 m) is still long but from the summit (2284 m) there are awesome views to the east, north and west.
This hike is available from late May until early October. Should you wish to make use of the Sunnbüel Cable Car the cost for a one way ticket is SFr. 15.00 for adults and SFr. 7.50 for children.
One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
