Blausee is a small and secluded blue lake formed by a pre-historic landslide. Idyllic woods, criss-crossed with small pathways, surround the lake. The water in the lake is mirror-like, perfectly still and clear, allowing you to see to the bottom, where ancient fossilised tree trunks lie. The relaxing walk to Blausee descends along the west side of the river Kander. And once you are there you can also visit the trout farm behind the lake or maybe just the lakeside restaurant.
Please note, swimmming in the lake is not allowed.
One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
