All year, Jamboree Packs, Self-guided, Single Day Routes
The relaxing walk to Blausee descends along the west side of the river Kander. Blausee is a small secluded blue lake formed by a pre-historic landslide. It is surrounded by idyllic woods, where small pathways cross each other. The water in the lake is mirror-like, perfectly still and clear, allowing you to see to the bottom, where ancient fossilized tree trunks lie. You can visit the trout farm behind the lake or maybe just the restaurant at the side of the lake.
This Hike is available year round. The Cost for entry into Blausee is SFr. 1.00 per person with the Blausee Entry Card. This is avalable from the Programme Staff at Reception.
One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
