Winter Kit List
This kit list has been developed by our Programme Staff over many years and should help you get the most of your activities! For some activities following the Kit List is essential. i.e. No Boots, No Hike...

Equipment
- Ski trousers and jacket, thermal underwear, warm clothes
- Skin and lip protection
- Sun glasses or ski goggles with good UV protection
- Warm hat and Gloves (preferably waterproof)
- Rucksack
- Full water bottle
- Packed lunch
- The ski passes that your ski guide gives you!
- Your Skis/Snowboards and Ski/Snowboard Boots
- Full Scout uniform
- Helmets for skiing or snowboarding are recommended and are available to rent from the shops in the village

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

HIGH ADVENTURE
KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.
