Activity Bookings
To book our activities first you need to have a confirmed booking for accomodation at KISC. Use the online Accommodation Booking Request to make a provisional booking. The Reception Team will process your details and contact you. You must pay a prepayment to confirm the booking.
Once this has been done, you will receive a Programme Request form to make Activity Bookings.
Bookings for Summer activities open on the 1st of March at 10.00 am CET and, to make it fair for all guests, we do not accept any bookings before this date. For Winter activities, bookings open on October 1st . Before these dates we do not accept any programme bookings. If you are coming in Spring or Autumn then send us your Programme Request form at least a month in advance with your requirements and we will see what is possible.
Our activities are booked on a 'first come, first served' basis, so please send us your Programme request form as soon as possible. Don't be disappointed!!
Our activities have limited numbers and, in mid summer with over 1000 Scouts at KISC, we have more demand for our activities than we can provide - especially in the busiest weeks around August 1st. Planning activities in advance and booking early gives you the best chance of getting your first choice of activities. Summer activity bookings open on March 1st, book on or close to this day for the best chance of booking your first choice of Programme.
Please note that the minimum ages and group sizes for activities listed in KanderActive must be followed and are in line with our safety policy. We require a leader over the age of 18 to be present for all activities. The leader is counted as part of the total group number.
Once we receive your booking form, we will book your programme and send confirmation, suggesting different options if your original choices are fully booked or not possible.
For your convenience, all activities can be billed directly to your final account.
When you arrive at KISC we will ask you to do a programme check in, where we will go through your activities day by day giving detailed information and handing out any booked tickets and vouchers.
It may be necessary to change the planned programme due to poor weather conditions. If this occurs we will be happy to organise alternative activities together with you. If this results in additional costs, these will have to be paid by the group.
NON-GUESTS
Non-guests are welcome to arrange programme and equipment bookings in advance. A surcharge of 10% or a minimum of CHF 1.- per item is added to cover costs.
DOWNLOAD
You can download a blank Programme Request Form here. We are happy to receive your form in (almost) any file format as long as the layout and text formatting is the same as these documents.
We can not process your Programme Request form until you have paid your accommodation booking fee and returned your signed booking form to us.

CANCELATION FEES
During the year we have lots of groups wishing to do activities and, once an activity is booked, we have to turn other Scouts away from it. Occasionally, groups do not let us know of changes or cancellations – leaving empty spaces and disappointed Scouts. To help all our guests get the most from their stay, we charge a fee of CHF 5. – per person for an activity or half the total price of an activity for any cancellation which does not give us 48 hours notice. This applies to all Centre activities advertised in KanderActive including those which are free of charge. There is no charge if a person is sick or injured.
If the activity is not run by the Centre (e.g. River Rafting, Paragliding or Mountain Biking) then you may have to pay the FULL PRICE if you cancel too late, this is normal Swiss practice.
Please plan a realistic programme and let us know of any changes in suitable time. Remember the altitude and fitness requirements; avoid over-tiredness and stress. The Programme Staff are very happy to help you with this. Thank you for your help in providing as many opportunities as possible for Scouts visiting KISC.
