Dear fellow Pinkies,

We hope that you are having a beautiful Autumn wherever in the world are you! Here at the Centre we are trying to raise our profile and encourage more Scouts to experience the Magic of KISC. Part of this involves attending events all over the world. To be able to take a part in number of events, we need your help! We would like to be present at a few events in 2017 by sending Ex-Staff on the behalf of the Centre. Enjoy these scout gatherings while spreading the word about the World Scout Centre!

If you are seriously considering to attend one of these events as a Pinkie, fill this FORM until the 7th of October 2016. After this date, we will come back to you and we may organise a short interview. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of October 2016. 

We understand that it can be expensive to attend such events and KISC is therefore covering the participation fees of the events. However, the travel costs will not be covered by the Centre.

LONG TERM STAFF OPPORTUNITIES

Take on one of the roles within the Long Term Staff team! What you can experience working at KISC is truly unique and moreover, it can help you to develop your skills for the future. We have put some new positions for 2016/2017 online. These positions are in our Catering, Maintenance and PR & Marketing Depertments.

Do you want to be the person behind KISC’s posts on Facebook? Do you have some basic designing skills and a creative spirit? We have opened a new position at KISC - the Social Media and Communications Assistant! We are looking for someone to assist our PR & Marketing Manager with managing several social media accounts and the Communication plan. The post starts on the 6th of December 2016 for a contract of 1 year. Excited for a new opportunity? Do you want to know more details? Check the job description here.

KISC is also looking for a motivated and skilled person to work as Maintenance Manager. The post starts in the mid December 2016 for a contract of 1 year. Along with opening the Mainenance Manager position we are looking for Maintenance Assistant who would start on the 1st of March for a contract of 9 months. The Maintenance Assistant will assist the Maintenance Manager and the Grounds Manager in the efficient maintenance and development of the Centre’s property.

We would like to remind you that the deadline for the applications for Catering Manager and Catering Assistant is 30th of September. The candidates should be prepared to serve food for hundreds of hungry Scouts and Guides, to run Catering operations and manage excited STS ready for kitchen action! If you can put your organisational skills into catering practise and dedication into customer service, you might be the right person for one of these positions.
