Insurance
Please remember that the Alps, and mountain activities, can be dangerous. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you and your group are fully prepared for all the activities that you intent to undertake, both in terms of fitness and equipment.
The Centre’s insurance does not cover you or your group against accidents that may occur during your stay. Please check your insurance policy carefully and make sure that it covers all rescue and medical costs. It is essential that you have full insurance cover.
At the Centre we can sell you a one-day insurance policy to be used during activities. It is designed to be supplementary to your own insurance and will cover any medical bills (until recovery) plus transport from the accident site to the nearest hospital which your personal insurance may not cover. The policy ONLY covers accidents and therefore you MUST have your own travel insurance to cover illness or loss of property etc. Contact us before arriving in Kandersteg to arrange this.
