Kandersteg offers skiing for all abilities, we have 13 km of groomed runs in two ski areas.  Oeschinensee is at the eastern side of the village and is reached by a gondola.  The easy to intermediate runs are served by a pair of T-bar lifts and the excellent beginners slope by a rope tow.  An exciting run down back to the base of the gondola brings skiers back into the village.  Ten minutes walk from the centre is a cable car at Sunnbüel, here there are two blue runs and two red runs that are served by a T-bar lift.
