Juuso the Finnish Guy
I'm Juuso and I come from the cold and awesome Nordic country called Finland. Back home, I'm actually living in Helsinki, but I've never been a city guy. I'm more into doing stuff in the countryside and outdoors, like climbing and cutting down trees...
I'm working here at KISC as Short Term Staff for Summer 2010 and I'm more specialised in programme stuff, especially climbing. Working at KISC is probably the most awesome thing in the World that you can ever imagine. It's not like normal life back home with a bunch of pros and cons to handle. I enjoy being at KISC everyday and to be honest it sounds bit surreal, but this place is just like a paradise.
Last week has been quite busy, especially when it comes to climbing. I've had three climbing courses in row, which means taking cable car up to Sunnbüel, hanging out at Winteregg wall and taking the cable car down back to the valley floor. Doing this three days in row, the cable car operator recognised me quite well by Wednesday and pointed out "Oh you're the climbing guy from KISC". On Thursday's day off, we surprisingly went for a climb to Winteregg, so four days in row hanging out at Winteregg. Priceless...
Back at KISC, when I'm outdoors doing climbing stuff, I'm also known as the Finnish guy, who says things straight as they are. Usually, I'm entertaining people with my twist-minded phrases, when I have something wicked to say. I also try to make most of my swap days, especially when it comes to catering, because I can ease my homesickness by hanging in the downstairs freezer, while catering staff are desperately trying to find me.
Well, I'm a Finnish guy, so I'm not going to write more about me. If you want to know more about me just hit me and ask your question...
See ya!
