Ceux qui souhaitent participer à un programme hivernal varié et rempli de défis peuvent essayer d'obtenir le Prix de l'Aventure des Neiges (Snow Adventure Award).

Les participants agés de moins de 14 ans doivent réaliser au minimum 6 des épreuves décrites ci-dessous. Ceux âgés de plus de 14 ans doivent, quant à eux, en réaliser 8.
- Aider à construire un abri de neige: un igloo ou une caverne de neige
- Faire un bonhomme de neige ou une autre sculpture de neige
- Passer une nuit dans la neige que ce soit dans une tente, un refuge ou un igloo
- Faire - au choix - du ski alpin, du télémark, du snowboard, une randonnée à raquettes ou du ski de fond
- Faire soit du curling, soit du patinage, soit de la luge
- Apprendre ce qu'est l'hypothermie*
- Apprendre les causes et les dangers des avalanches ainsi les méthodes de prévention*
- Participer à un jeu à l'extérieur, avec des scouts ou des guides d'un autre pays
- Organiser un diner «fondue au fromage» ou un diner «raclette», ou visiter la laiterie Hans Hari pour apprendre comment le fromage est produit
- Participer à une activité du soir au Centre

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

HIGH ADVENTURE
KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.

One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
