Italian Room
The room has 8 beds in the following configuration: 3 bunks with each 2 beds and 2 beds side by side over the corridor. The room was first established in 1952 and last renovated in 2006 thanks to the continous support of the Italian Scout Federation (Federazione Italiana dello Scautismo). The room is at the front side of the Chalet and the roof windows look out over the Kander.

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.
