Welcome to the NEW GENERATION CHALET PROJECT Blog!
The Next Generation Chalet Project is securing the infraestructure needs of the whole of the Centre for many years to come and aims to achieve a better experience for all our guests during their stay at the Centre.
Aim of this Blog is to give you a regular update on the renovation works in our buildings. Currently the Blog follows the Renovation of the Ground Floor in the Chalet Building, directed by Paul Lawrenson and the Pinkies. Previous posts includes the development of the Kander-Lodge (opened on May 30th, 2009).

After 3 full months of challenges, deadlines, hard work and fun we came to the end of this project. This is the last blog post - thank you for reading our blog and enjoy the photo gallery!

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

HIGH ADVENTURE
KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.

ECO ADVENTURE
One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
