INTERNATIONAL ROVER WEEK

Then take part in the KISC International Rover Week at Kandersteg International Scout Centre the only truly Permanent Mini-Jamboree!

You will meet people from all over the world, take part in interesting and exciting activities with hundreds of other Scouts and Guides, give your service to World Scouting, enjoying breathtaking alpine landscapes and have great fun!

what is it?

This is an international event open to all Rovers and Rangers belonging to a National Scout Organisation recognised by WOSM or WAGGGS.

It is open to both groups and individuals and aims to bring together people from different countries within Scouting and Guiding.

The programme allows all participants to have a personalised experience and at the same time, practise real team work. Although a basic programme is already set by KISC, participants can build the rest of their programme for the week. The programme will include both group and individual adventures.

who can participate?

All Rovers and Rangers,18-30 years old, belonging to a National Scout Organisation recognised by WOSM or WAGGGS. You can participate individually or as a group. There is a limit of 10 participants per country in order to
ensure the cultural diversity of the event.

useful information

All participants will be camping and must arrange their own meals and tents during their stay.

Price: CHF 99.00* (approx. €75.00)

*Please note the price of the overnight accommodation will be reduced according to the WOSM categories for the B to D countries.

The price includes:
Seven nights accommodation on the KISC Campsite, cooking equipment, an International Scout Disco, an International Evening and BBQ and a typical Swiss dinner.

The programme set by KISC also includes: Flag Break, Ice Breaker Games, an International Campfire, a Service Project and a one day hike. These activities are free of charge.

The price does not include any extra activities choosen by the group or by individuals.
