Equipment for Rent
Please book all your rental equipment as soon as possible because it is booked on a first come first serve basis. It is not necessary to book Pioneering poles or Firewood. If you use any of our rental equipment, please use it with care!

Deposits can be paid for in cash or preferably by filling out a credit card form.
Tables and Benches
One set of tables and benches includes 1 table and 2 benches. On one set you can fit up to 10 persons.
Tables and benches are limited so please book in advance!

Firewood
Firewood can be collected at our Wood Compound. Firewood is given out in barrels in which you also use to make the fire to keep it off the ground.

Pioneering Poles
We have a limited amount of pioneering poles in different lengths. The length reaches from 1,2m to about 5m.
We can offer each group approximately 20 poles for pioneering in different lenghts. This number may be less during very high season.
Pioneerring poles can't be modified or cut in anyway. We do not offer any kind of ropes or material for pioneering. Please bring your own ropes!!
There is also a possibility to buy rope in the village.
Propane gas
Propane gas comes in the normal Swiss 7.5kg bottles. Most European gas regulators fit. We also have a small amount of gas regulators available for a deposit of 20.- CHF (the regulator has a 21.8 x 1/14" left thread). Other gas canisters can be bought in the village of Kandersteg although only the most commen types are availabe (e.g. Camping Gas).

Butane Gas
Butane gas comes in the normal Swiss 4kg Camping Gas canisters. Most European gas regulators fit. We also have a small amount of gas regulators available for a deposit of 20.- CHF. The next Petrol Station is 12km down the valley, so you have the possibility to buy petrol for your stove etc. here on the Campsite. It is normal petrol not white petrol.

Gas Stoves
We have ten gas stoves available. Each stove has two rings and comes with a hose and a gas regulator. The cost and deposit for gas bottles required is not included in the price for a stove!

The following tents are available for rent by KISC. They must be pre-booked through Reception. If you choose to use our rental tents, please use them with care! It costs us lots of time and money to maintain them!
Sleeping Tents
We have tents of different sizes available (see list below). When you book rental tents please let us know how many people you are in total and if you need to have separate male and female and/or leader and children accommodation so that we can give you the right amount of tents.
You can tell us your favorite choice of tent, but depending on the availability and to fulfill all the needs of everybody we will make the distribution of our tents.
It is not possible to get more tent space than people in your group.

The pans and pots are only to be used on gas stoves not on open fire. If you wish to cook on open fire we have a few pans and pots available.
The cost and deposit for gas bottles required is not included in the price for a Cooking Set!!Please note there is no personal items in the cooking set. (e.g. no cutlery, plates, bowels, cups, etc)
