Das Internationale Pfadfinderzentrum will für eine in Umweltbelangen nachhaltigere Gesellschaft eine Vorreiterrolle übernehmen. Wir minimieren laufend unsere Umweltbelastung, fördern die gute Ausbildung unserer Mitarbeiter in Umweltfragen, bewerben aktiv unsere Umwelt-Aktivitäten und machen unsere Gäste auf Umweltfragen aufmerksam.
Das IZPK will dabei im Minimum den strengen lokalen und globalen Gesetzgebungen und Empfehlungen entsprechen und alle Anstrengungen unternehmen, die nachstehenden Punkte zu erfüllen. Dies unter den Gesichtspunkten des technisch Machbaren, der ökonomischen Durchführbarkeit und dem ökologischen Anspruch.
So ist es in den IZPK Umwelt-Richtlinie (2009) definiert. Du kannst das komplette Dokument und den Umsetzungs-Plan am Ende dieser Seite runterladen.
Eine Umweltpolitik allein, schöne Worte und beeindruckende Statements genügen aber nicht, wir geben unser Bestes um sicherzustellen, dass wir jede der beschriebenen Massnahmen auch umsetzen werden.

UNGUIDED HIKES
A selection of recommended hike routes in the Kandersteg area which you can lead your Scout Group on. The routes range from half-day strolls to multi-day routes traversing alpine passes.

HIGH ADVENTURE
KISC is surrounded by high mountains and eternal glaciers. Hike over an alpine pass, explore a glacier or challenge yourself at rock climbing.

One of the main themes of our Programme the environment is important to all Scouts. We have Guided and Self-Guided Programme as well as the Eco Adventure Room and environmental information around the Centre and Campsite.
