Walk This Way14.08.2009
Oida, what's going on here!?!
I just went through the Campsite yesterday night to see who's actually still there. You think: "August 1st, then 2 more days, and that's it". HA - wrong! There are still a lot of nice/crazy/interesting people around.
I talked with an English guy who wants to bring his group to Switzerland in 2 years time, but hasn't been here before himself. He told me he doesn't like Swiss cities that much, but when I asked him where he was so far, he said he went only to Interlaken... I sent him to Bern, Luzern and a lot of places you can visit around here which are absolutely fantastic. Then I got some salami-chilli-cream from a Italian group and a huge sandwich with minced meat and hot sauce from a German group - how cool is that!
This weekend I go with Lou (House Manager from Italy) and Michael (Campsite Manager from Germany) to Siena (Italy) for 3 days to watch the traditional folk festivities. Looking forward to this one!
When I'm not off, I sit most of the time in my office and deal with financial issues there. Contractwise, I'm the only person at the Centre who have to be a native-German-speaker, so I deal with all the outside contacts as well, doing bills, insurances and being helpful with people - that's what Tine (the Shop Manager from Denmark) says ;-)
I hope to see you soon here @ KISC. If so, just drop by Reception and have a laugh!
