The most smiley and injured Pinkie05.02.2016
Hello, I'm Sophie, from the lovely rainy expanse that is the UK and I'm this week's Smile of the Week. And there are so many reasons why I'm smiling!
Firstly, I'm finally experiencing KISC in the winter because until now I have seen the mountains in summer mode. The scenery is absolutely spectacular and the view from my window makes me smile every morning. I'm smiling when it's snowing and when it's sunny and even when it's raining (which, despite being the middle of winter, it has rained quite a lot - although yesterday we were blessed with snowy weather all day).
The second reason I'm always smiling is because of the amazing people here at KISC. Even when we're cleaning toilets or folding sheets in laundry I'm smiling because I'm sharing the experience with my awsome fellow shorties! I'm also smiling because of all the amazing days out we have had; skiing in Grindelwald and Adelboden, shopping in Bern and our collective staff day off. Im looking forward to more amazing days out and more smiles with Ski Week 8, Nordic Day, Pancake day and my birthday all coming up!
As well as being known as one of the smiliest people at the centre (psst, we're all smiley by the way!) I've also come to be known as one of the most often injured and almost always in stupid ways. To name a few; I ended up in hospital after a night out to the cinema because I hit my head on the car boot, also, Dot almost dropped his skis on my head and I also achieved a ten out of ten crash on our first day skiing! Even just getting out of a chair can end in disaster for me - during collective day off I fell over just try to stand up!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to more amazing days, smiles and most likely injuries in our last month here!
