Salanitra e. I'm Andry from Madagascar. Just as in the movie Madagascar, "I like to move it move it"! But I want to clarify that we don't have lions, giraffes, hippos or penguins in my country.
I'm very proud to represent my country at KISC because Madagascar is a wonderful island and very unique too. Everything I do at the Centre, I do it for all the malagasy people, my scout association "Tily Eto Madagasikara" or "Christian Boy Scouts in Madagascar", my church, my troop "Tily Menafify" and especially for my family.
Also, I'd like to thanks all the Staff at KISC because they are very cool. And, I want to thanks the Lord, not only because I can live my dream but also the dreams of the many Malagasy people and Malagasy Scouts. And, I know that many of them pray for me everytime. I hope as well that after my training at the Centre, others malagasy scouts will come to KISC!
So, I owe my smile to my Malagasy origin and also, as the Scout law in Madagascar says: " Mihira sy mitsiky ny Tily raha sendra ny sarotra", or " In difficult situations, a scout sings and smiles everytime". But especially because I'm the only person at the Centre who is really excited by the snow that fell on Monday - I have never seen real snow before!
"Veloma" or "Good bye"
