Happy to be in the heart of the Alps17.09.2013
I am Tessy from Luxembourg.
Before coming to KISC, I had a really exhausting, but awesome summer. First, I went on a national camp with the Luxembourgish Scouts in England.
After that I spent 2 weeks in Senegal in Africa with the Luxembourgish Rovers who were there on a working camp and I have made some amazing memories! We redecorated a school and built a playground together with Scouts from Senegal and Niger. We spent the whole time dancing and singing! Even when work was hard, we always found something to smile about.
So I came to Kandersteg, I tried to continue with this attitude and it seemed to work. I am very happy that I am the first “smile of the week” of Autumn Season 2013!
We have just finished our training week and now work starts. Even if it might not sound exciting to have at least 5 training sessions a day for the whole week, I have to say that these first days have already been full of fun! I am really looking forward to the next few weeks and the months to come and of course I will try to keep on smiling. But I think this will be quite easy. Why?? Because of the lovely place we are (Swiss Alps), the lovely food they have in Switzerland and of course because of the AMAZING team you work with! ?
I think this autumn will be the most smiling time of my life!
