Ground Floor - Week 47/0917.11.2009
A lot of work has happened in the past weeks and the Ground Floor is getting its final shape although there is still a lot to do!
In the meantime we have started moving the staff back into the new offices even if not all the heating is connected or the LAN network is working in all corners. Even Mark, our Director, has moved himself out of his container and is now much happier in his new and warmer office. By the end of the week all staff should be able to work in the new offices.
Paul is now fully concentrating on the new Hall in the Old Chalet and has just put over 250m over pipes in the ceiling of the Hall for electricity, network, sound, media, etc. Tomorrow more plaster baord will arrive and then he and his crew will start with the ceiling.
On Monday the carpenter arrived and started buidling the new reception counter and surroundings. This gives now a better picture of how it all will look like in 2 weeks time! On Saturday Paul and his crew will do the ceiling in the reception area with special noise absorption sheets.
In between all these activities the carpet company is putting in the new floor covers.
It is hectic, but it is moving towards the end!
