DESIGN YOUR LAW: the WINNERS
We are happy to announce the winners of the Design Your Law creative contest!
Before that KISC would like to thanks all groups and idividuals who participated into this project and shared with us their enthusiasm, creativity and pride of being Scouts and Guides. Thank you!
The judging panel was formed by: Jens Sheeran (IE) - Operational Director, Conny van Zuijlen (NL) - Marketing Manager, Luisa Fontanazza (IT) - PR & Marketing Assistant, Michael Geyer (DE) - Maintenance Assistant and Jenneke Slomp (NL) - House Manager. As always, it is difficult to make decision and it took some time of looking and re-looking at the entries, considering the realisation possibilities and the impact of the various project before we were able to make a decision.
We have only one winner for all ten points of the Scout Law: the Algoa Sea Scouts, leaded by Lisbeth Demeyer from Walmer, Port Elizabeth in South Africa. Congratulation! The Algoa Sea Scouts worked out all ten points of the Scout Law one by one and presented ten real scouty, crafty and meaningful idea-projects which really express at the best all emotions, thoughts and values of the Scout Law.
DANISH ROVERS AT KISC
During the last week, KISC welcommed three Danish Rovers from the KFUM-Spejderne Scout Association. They, Peter, Hans and Marcus, are part of the Give a Year Scout Volunteering at the SCENEs and Goose Network centre Houens Odde in Denmark. They came to KISC to learn more about about running a large international Scout centre with just volunteers and about activities that can be organised for Scouts, both individuals and groups small and big.
COMING UP SOON...
The single busiest week of KISC Winter is coming up and it will see about 155 Scouts and Guides on Ski Week/Activity Packages and about 100 more on own programme! To make sure everything will run smootly and ensure a good time to all our guests, all Staff is working hard preparing all that is necessary and a 'army' of Helpers (16 of them!) is coming back at KISC from many countries! Interested? Keep an eye on for a update with the next Latest News!
