The Quite Frankly Awesome SOTW Blog from Team Sunneblick
Hey there, it's getting dangerously close to the end of the season and here in the green machine we were almost worried our smiles were going unnoticed. However, this week we are delighted to inform you that it's us, 'Team Sunneblick' that are smiling.26.02.2015
We're sure you have been following our blog detailing the progress of the project we have undertaken over the last 6 weeks but if you haven't please go clicking that way after you read this to find out a bit more about what we've been up to during our time at KISC.
Camp Green consists of two KISC veterans Siobhán (UK) and Jorge (ES) who have been Summer STS and LTS respectively, and two newbies Mads (DK) and Rohan (UK). Something we all have in common is that none of us have been to KISC in winter before so we can share in this new, challenging, delightful but still quite quite snowy and chilly experience.
Thankfully, we heard a rumour when we arrived from other staff that snow can also be used for some entertaining activities such as Skiing, Sledding, Snowboarding, Skibiking, Snow Angeling, Extreme Freestyle Snow shoeing, and of course our favourite pastime Cross Country Skiing which is potentially the most exhilarating snow sport. This rumour has enabled us to explore this wonderful valley to a large extent when we haven't been working hard on the Sunneblick restoration project.
We can safely tell you that we have had a completely exhausting but fantastic time here at KISC so far and are still enjoying ourselves even as our project sadly draws to its conclusion.
